Bangkok, Thailand — On the last day, TIGERS-X team made every effort to conduct experiments and retrieve as much data as possible for analysis before the actual experimental payload journeys back to Earth.

For the final round of experiments, team focused on their operations on Microchannels 1, 3, and 4 to observe the mixing characteristics of the substances in all possible configurations. Furthermore, the team remained on standby 24 hours a day to download as many recorded video files of the experimental results as possible back to the ground control room. This data will be analyzed in parallel while awaiting the return of the physical payload.
The main planned experiments will officially conclude at 00:00 on June 5. The TIGERS-X payload will remain installed inside the ICF system’s rack until 16:00 the following day. However, during the remaining time before the decommissioning, the team has planned to conduct additional tests by releasing substances into Microchannel 2. This is to harvest further data and make the most worthwhile use of the hardware while it is still in space.
Over the past 9 days, the TIGERS-X experimental payload has provided invaluable data and new bodies of knowledge regarding emulsion mixing. The process from here on out involves comparing the experimental results obtained from space with the results from Earth. This will help us gain a profound understanding of the underlying scientific processes, serving as a crucial foundation for producing future academic publications.
